• Collaborate with the design team and assist in the development of themes: discussions of concepts and ideas • Study artistic design research: photos, magazines, library, articles, fabric, vintage clothing, accessories • Brainstorm design sketches and creative cutting • Work with the design to keep the collection theme • Detailed attention to sketches, fittings, modifications, patterns and garment assembly • Intensive liaison with machinists for garment construction • Liaise between design team, sample room and Italian team • Integration with design team to interpret and realize designs thru draping and first sketches • Supervise sample progress, fitting thru development of original samples, fittings through production samples • Creates patterns by hand and also using computerized systems • Creativity, Flexibility, adaptability, initiative
